Mega Gyarados is an easy Mega Raids raid boss to defeat, with a CP value of 47142. 4 trainers should be more than enough to defeat Mega Gyarados in the raid. Mega Gyarados is vulnerable to Fighting, Bug, Fairy type moves and mainly weaker to Pokémon such as Xerneas, Volcarona, Conkeldurr, Florges, Togekiss. Defeating Mega Gyarados in a raid will only encounter Gyarados (not Mega form) but will earn you Mega Gyarados candy.

Mega Gyarados can obtain below CP values when defeated.

  • 2319 - 2422 CP during Fog and Rainy weather conditions.
  • 1855 - 1937 CP during other weather conditions.

Mega Gyarados is not available at the moment in raids and the last recently available date was November 23, 2022. Shiny Gyarados is also available from raids in the game.
