Primal Groudon is a Continent raid boss, vulnerable to Ground, Rock, Water type moves and mainly weaker to Pokémon such as Kyogre, Groudon, Palkia, Rhyperior, Tyranitar. Defeating Primal Groudon in a raid will only encounter you Groudon(not Mega form). But still it will earn you Mega Groudon candy to Mega evolve Groudon.

Primal Groudon can obtain below CP values when defeated.

  • 2825 - 2939 CP during Sunny / clear weather conditions.
  • 2260 - 2351 CP during other weather conditions.

Primal Groudon is not available at the moment in raids and the last recently available date was February 27, 2023. Shiny Groudon is also available from raids in the game.
